With spring in full bloom and waves surging in the deep blue, at the beginning of the Year of the Horse, the subsidiary Tianqiao Jiacheng successfully delivered and put into operation the first intelligent steel plate storage yard in the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry, developed and built by Weihai Jinling Shipyard. Weihai Jinling Shipyard, affiliated with China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Group (one of China's three major state-owned marine equipment manufacturing groups), focuses on high-end shipbuilding and is a leading enterprise in the construction of high-end passenger ro-ro ships and luxury cruise ships in China.

The newly built intelligent steel plate storage yard is a key landmark project for Weihai Jinling Shipyard to fully promote the construction of a "digital, green and intelligent factory". It covers an area of approximately 14,000 ^m2 and covers intelligent warehousing management of thousands of specifications of steel plates, with a monthly total of 20,000 tons/13,000 sheets of steel plates entering and leaving the warehouse.

The project, planned, designed, implemented, and delivered by Tianqiao Jiacheng, has achieved intelligent operation and digital management of the entire process of steel plate receiving, sorting, identification, detection, correction, grouping, warehousing, preparation, sorting, pre-processing loading, offline buffering, and cutting loading. It effectively solves the pain points of traditional steel plate yard management, such as extensive management, intensive manual labor, frequent material searching, difficulty in on-demand delivery, serious inventory backlog, and frequent safety hazards, thus ushering in a new era of intelligent management for steel plate yards in the shipbuilding and marine engineering industry.

The pioneering multi-functional intelligent steel plate marshalling machine adopts a brand-new four-axis linkage architecture, coupled with high-precision vision guidance, integrating multiple functions such as sheet handling, identification and measurement, centering and correction, and stacking and marshalling into one, which greatly saves the additional investment in centering mechanisms and marshalling equipment in the warehousing and loading area.

Our self-developed intelligent overhead crane has undergone extensive testing and iterative upgrades in complex working conditions across multiple industries. It can achieve multi-vehicle collaboration, three-axis linkage, precise positioning, autonomous planning of the optimal path, and efficient and stable completion of various steel plate handling operations in the warehouse area.

3. Autonomous scheduling and optimization, developing a super-intelligent brain.

Configured with WMS intelligent yard management system, it has a wealth of functions such as advanced planning and scheduling, dynamic allocation of storage locations, sorting and coding, autonomous material handling, inventory management, data acquisition and monitoring, and report push.

With the powerful support of the pioneering autonomous scheduling optimization algorithm, trained on massive data samples, it can autonomously solve and generate the optimal handling operation queue according to the production plan and schedule, and schedule intelligent overhead cranes to perform steel plate stacking, sorting, material preparation, sorting and loading operations, minimizing unnecessary handling.

4. AI-powered intelligent protection, comprehensively enhancing security.

Based on an AI-driven intrinsic security protection system, a multi-layered protection barrier is constructed, including regional access control, intrusion detection, security interlocks, power outage protection, fault warning, and disaster recovery backup, to comprehensively protect the security of personnel, equipment, networks, and data.
